MICROPIGMENTATION / SEMI-PERMANENT MAKE-UP / COSMETIC TATTOOING

This is a technique which cosmetic tattoo pigments are implanted to the epidermis of the skin which resembles cosmetic makeup.  It can be done either manually or by a tattoo machine.   It is meant to enhance your natural features of your face.  There are many benefits to cosmetic tattooing, most people have very busy lives and every minute counts, this saves you time on your morning routine.  You don’t have to worry about embarrassing smudging after a workout or coming out of the pool.   People with physical disabilities or impaired motor skills, such as arthritis, Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, benefit from this because it's difficult for them to apply makeup themselves, with cosmetic tattooing, they can continue to look their best without having to worry about whether they've applied it accurately.  People with poor eyesight may get these procedures done for the same reasons.

Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered semi-permanent, will not wash off but will fade over time and is recommended to be refreshed every year.  Healing results may vary from person to person due to skin types, your skin care regime, sun exposure, etc.    It is impossible to guarantee perfect healed results as each unique skin type will retain pigments differently, therefore a touch up session is recommended to be performed no longer than 8 weeks following your initial procedure to give you the best possible results.

Our techniques are very gentle and non-invasive causing very minimal trauma to the skin, therefore there is little to no downtime.  Redness and swelling is also minimal.  A topical numbing agent and numbing gel is applied at the beginning and throughout your procedure to ensure you remain comfortable during your entire procedure.   Some clients experience little or no pain at all while some have described the discomfort as being equivalent to plucking or tweezing of brows.

We use high quality pharmaceutical grade pigments which are gamma irradiation sterilized, and certified for safety by SGS in Switzerland, Dermatest in Germany and the Korea Testing & Research Institute, ensuring a safe procedure to all our clients.  We only use single disposable needles and supplies. This means that each set-up for each new client is discarded safely afterwards.

BEFORE THE PROCEDURE

Do not wax, tweeze or shave your eyebrows at least one week before your procedure.  We prefer to work with your natural shape and will retain as much of your brow hair as possible.
